The story of Jane Eyre is grey and formidable. On a sea of tragedy, Jane is a resolute little bird who stalwartly faces misfortune that would end a lesser heart. Hoping always, even when she has no reason to, we see her fighting for herself and the freedom of her soul long before feminism was even a word. We chose the scent of sweet Hawthorn berries along with bitter black tea to place you right in the midst of Thornfield Hall.
