SCENT PROFILE: Crisp Page - Oak - Honeycomb

“Good morning, Revolution: You're the very best friend I ever had. We gonna pal around together from now on.”

My first trip to New York, the only thing I bought for myself was a ragged 1963 copy of The Big Sea. Thus began my introduction to a man who would change my life with his lyrical views on being black in America. Langston Hughes was a social activist, novelist, playwright, and cultural philosopher. He gave a poet’s voice to black pain and spoke fearlessly of what it was like to be African American and alive in the midst of the civil rights movement. This candle celebrates the hero of the Harlem Renaissance with the scent of crisp pages, bright oak, and honeycomb.

BlueForest BlackMoon candles are crafted by hand in our tiny studio in Georgia. We use a 100% coconut-soy blend wax for a lovely clean burn enhanced by the crackle of an ethically sourced woodwick!
