Hispanic Heritage Month Candles
Two 15 oz aura glass limited edition candles for the month celebrating all things Hispanic — this is such an important month to my family and so many others. These candles celebrate two artists our family holds dear — Frida — an updated candle in our original scent; crushed petals, bright guava, and a hint of cardamom formed in scarlet wax. This candle will be crowned in a glorious ring of flowers celebrating the crown of blooms that Frida loved best. And then Pablo Neruda, the poet whose words of passion and love were etched into every single one of our wedding programs (and who happened to write the first book Danny ever gave me). This candle is in a deep gold wax, with a half ring of flowers, a miniature resin anatomical heart, and a hand-typed note with an excerpt of Pablo’s poetry.
100% of the proceeds from the sale of our Gloria Dulce candle will be donated to the Georgia Latino Alliance for Human Rights. (GLAHR) educates, organizes, and trains the Latino community in Georgia to defend and promote their civil and human rights. Established in 2001, GLAHR is a community organization that develops grassroots leadership in all Latino immigrant communities in the state of Georgia.
BlueForest BlackMoon candles are crafted by hand in our tiny studio in Georgia. We use a 100% coconut-soy blend wax for a lovely clean burn enhanced by the crackle of an ethically sourced woodwick! We custom blend every one of our fragrances to ensure a transportive experience every time you set your wick aflame.
